Laptops for the Wounded

When a mother, Laura Brown, learned of a hospital’s lack of laptops for wounded soldiers, she went to action. The thought that soldiers had email in Iraq and not in a hospital for wounded soldiers, something didn’t see right. She set out to start donating laptops to these hospitals so that the soldiers could have contact with their families, communicate, see their loved ones with cameras, and also be able to watch movies or television close up, for those with eye injuries. At this time, her efforts have raised the ability to donate 27 of these laptops all ready! 24 were donated to the Walter Reed Medical Center in Washington.
