Sirius Satellite Radio Inc. will launch its backseat television service exclusively in several DaimlerChrysler cars and minivans later this year
In an effort to get a larger market share, Sirius breaks out of it’s radio mode and aims to air television service. The system will cost just under $500, with a monthly fee ranging from $7-13 monthly. It will include the Disney Channel, Nickelodeon and the Cartoon Network. Have no fear, Adult Swim won’t be broadcasting in the cars, Cartoon Network’s adult toons.
