Crumbling Blocks Will Fall

I’ve been on vacation, and while we were out and about, we visited a restaurant we’ve been going to in this local town. We were greeted with a less than enthusiastic waiter, and it set the mood for our short stay.

That first moment set a mood…that very simple and first greeting. Maybe it would improve, maybe not. I’ll be honest, this guy did NOT want to be bothered. Now, take in mind this is a restaurant we’ve been going to for some time, so we know service isn’t always like this.

What did happen though, as we left after this sour experience was that in the car we started discussing this very restaurant.

“I’m not crazy about their dinners, and really just like their sandwiches.”

“I know what you mean. Now that I think about it, this isn’t the first time we’ve had poor service.”

“Maybe it’s time to find a different hang out when we come here..”

Had we had a more pleasant experience, we probably wouldn’t have had this conversation in the car. Guess who loses out? We’re moving onto another place, and by the way, we found a great little seafood place we hadn’t tried before.

It just takes a crack in the wall for the entire wall to crumble and fall. Where are the cracks in your establishment?
